Beauty, durability and value in one system.
Our mission is to give Wisconsin homeowners the best value for their money while delivering a bathroom they love. That is why we install Premium Samuel Mueller Systems, known for luxurious, high quality solid surface products that make a lasting upgrade to your home. We also offer Signature BathWraps® Systems for homeowners who prefer acrylic.
Benefits of solid surface baths and showers
Samuel Mueller pioneered solid surface material for bathrooms: smooth, nonporous and strong, made for high moisture rooms.
Compression molded bases
Shower bases are compression molded under 5,000 psi to create a dense solid surface that resists cracking and wear and keeps looking new for years.
Easy maintenance
Nonporous surfaces infused with antimicrobial properties, plus one piece construction, mean no grout or caulked corners to clean. Mold and mildew have nowhere to grow.
Custom fit options
Trimmable bases and ultra low profiles allow a precise fit in many spaces, including no threshold entries for accessibility.
Forever Valve technology
The Forever Valve delivers twice the flow rate of standard valves, resists calcium buildup and includes a leak proof sealed work box to protect your walls.
Safety first
Samuel Mueller describes its shower floors as the most slip resistant on the market, for added security for every member of your household.
Lifetime Warranty and Workmanship Guarantee
Samuel Mueller backs its products with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty, and American Shower Company backs its installation with our workmanship guarantee.
How it compares with other materials
| Material | What to know |
|---|---|
| Premium Samuel Mueller Systems | Dense, compression molded solid surface that is heavier, with a stone like feel. Samuel Mueller says its tubs hold water temperature longer. Seamless and nonporous with no grout lines, it resists mold and mildew and is easy to clean. Wall surrounds can give the look of tile or stone. |
| Signature BathWraps® Systems | Nonporous virgin acrylic with Silver Ion antimicrobial protection for the life of the system. Lighter, with a wide range of looks, and more economical. We install it too. |
| Stone | Beautiful, but needs grout and sealing and takes longer to install and maintain. |
| Tile | A traditional look, with a longer install and grout lines that need regular cleaning. |
| Fiberglass | Affordable, though it can crack and stain over time. |
Which is right for you depends on your preferences and budget. Your consultant can show you both side by side at your free consultation.

Samuel Mueller questions
Is Samuel Mueller a good shower system brand?
Samuel Mueller makes solid surface shower and bath systems: compression molded bases pressed under 5,000 psi, nonporous antimicrobial surfaces and one piece walls with no grout lines. The brand backs its products with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. The finished result also depends on the installer, which is why American Shower Company installers are trained and certified in Samuel Mueller installations and we back the installation with our workmanship guarantee. We also install Signature BathWraps® Systems for homeowners who prefer acrylic.
What is solid surface material?
A dense, nonporous material made for wet rooms. Samuel Mueller compression molds its shower bases from it, so water, soap scum and mildew sit on the surface instead of soaking in, and there is no grout to seal or scrub.
Can a Samuel Mueller shower look like tile?
Yes. Samuel Mueller wall surrounds come in simulated tile and stone looks, including subway, hexagon, herringbone and marble patterns, with none of the grout maintenance. See the colors and fixtures page.
